Old Joke Recycled...
Goldrush Music Festival started off doing great, but got better and was slow by the end. I did groan, however, when I heard a nearly 20-year-old line recycled from his old sitcom. Overall a pretty good show. For all the money we pay to see a show at Caesar's Palace, don't we have the right to expect new (or at least recent) material?
Despite the quibbles enumerated above, his conversational tone is very effective when delivering a funny line. Another thing that grated on me a little was Goldrush Music Festival's overuse of shouting/voice raising. Used sparingly, at the right moment, it can be very funny, but I thought he overdid it at times.
I enjoyed the show and wouldn't mind seeing Goldrush Music Festival again sometime (after he's incorporated my helpful suggestions into his act).
